Novotel Le Mans

good family stopover, but dining options limited

The staff were friendly throughout our stay. The children's play area was a nice touch, providing entertainment for the kids. We enjoyed the outdoor pool view, despite the water being quite cold.

The dining options were somewhat limited for picky eaters.

The location was pleasant, at a short distance from L'abbaye de l'epau. The restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast, we ordered hot dishes.

Had great stay during our visit with welcoming staff and magnificent location located in a particularly nice area. The breakfast was adequate and had butter and fresh bread!

Shame the bathroom was a bit tired.

The lack of a traditional reception can be baffling!!! The noisy bar and restaurant ruin any chance of a peaceful evening!!!

Very quiet location with trams near by for transport into Le Mans - ideal stopover for travel between channel ports and south west france. Breakfast was included in our room rate so good value - we would not have bothered otherwise. Not too difficult to find from the toll route. Rooms medium sized and curtains designed to keep sunlight out. Standard Novotel features - free wi-fi. There was also a small outside swimming pool.

We thought that the restaurant menu was a bit expensive.

We spent two nights at this hotel. It is well placed to visit Le Mans race track. It has very good on site parking. All the food was well presented & enjoyable. Breakfast seemed reasonable value for money. The staff were friendly & efficient. The room was small, however, very clean and tidy.

The superior rooms seemed very ordinary, basic, and a bit on the small side. The Wi-fi was hopeless despite help from the staff - Not up to the usual Novetal standard

Would be happy to recommend for a trip

Spacious room, fantastic pool, the hotel offers excellent amenities including free parking and a children's play area that kept our kids entertained while we checked in.

Quiet Position, Nice river walks, Good Pool

The hotel had spacious family rooms and a nice pool area, perfect for kids to unwind after a day of driving. We particularly loved the outdoor play area that kept them entertained.

decor a bit dated and l thought staffing a bit sparce l noticed several jobs covered by a single person, sign of the times

Rooms were modern and clean, wifi worked, staff very friendly.

Breakfast was not included and too expemsive at nearly €14 a person. Le Mans was dead... It was a Saturday and the first week in August and a lot of restaurants and shops were closed for holidays. Not the hotels fault of course! The two single beds were sofa beds.

The pool is so tiny, it's practically a kiddie pool! Absolutley no attention was given to the broken utilities in my room, just good, and it's obviously too much to ask for a complimentary bottle of water? I almost gave this place a good review, but just couldn't, considering the subpar dining options offered and the overall lack of service.

Good size clean and comfortable room.

Restaurant staff were very rude and we waited an absolute age for our meal, They really couldn't be bothered and treated the guests with contempt. The desk staff were helpful and professional.
